Have some fresh strawberries in hand and in a mood for an Indian dessert? Try this delicious paayasum. The colder the better and even more so a day later J
Here’s how I made - a delicious dessert in under 30 minutes
Ingredients
1 small box of Strawberries (about 20 strawberries)
1 can of condensed milk
5 cups of milk
1 tsp of freshly ground cardamom
Preparation
Wash the strawberries well and dry them slightly with a paper towel
Add 1 cup of cold milk to the berries and blend well in a mixer
Remove from blender and set in the fridge
Open 1 can of condensed milk and pour its contents into a deep pan – add the other 4 cups of milk to it and stir it in. Allow it to boil like paayasum.
Grind cardamom seeds in your pestle and add to the milk
Refrigerate this as well
Once they are cool, mix together and serve cold

Fantastic innovation and so smart and quick to make too,,I guess cardamom will give the traditional payasam flavour? Did you think of using vanilla essence instead of cardamom (in micro levels)?Or would it detract from strawberry flavour?
